“Whoever recites it every night will never suffer from poverty.” (Sunan Ibn Majah 3786- Hasan)

·        Many pious predecessors like Ibn Mas’ud (RA) recommended its regular recitation.

·        The protection refers to both material and spiritual poverty.

2.     Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (RA) said:

“I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say, ‘Whoever recites Surah Waqiah every night will never face poverty.’ Ibn Mas’ud used to order his daughters to recite it every night.” (Al-Mu’jam al-Awsat 620 – Sahih chain)

Weak Narrations to Be Cautious About
